Medieval LEGO takes you through real English history in the Middle Ages with a unique twist, with every event illustrated by a tiny little LEGO scene. With contributions by renowned medievalist scholars, this book brings history to life in a fun, kid-friendly way. My piece is on William Wallace (Braveheart) at the Battle of Falkirk.
Other contributors include D'Arcy Jonathan Dacre Boulton at Notre Dame, Robert Bartlett at Saint Andrews, and Judith Butler at the University of Southern California. Each scholarly essay is illustrated by an amazing LEGO artist.
This was a great project, edited by Greyson Bates, who was only 16 years old at the time. (Imagine a college professor being edited by a high school student!)
